About BReine

A study companion that respects your attention — and your data.

BReine was created for learners who want structure without overwhelm, insights without surveillance, and tools that quietly support deep work instead of distracting from it.

Our mission

Help people learn better — not by adding more noise, but by giving them a calm, reliable system for focus, reflection, and growth.

  • Clarity over clutter — every screen is designed to keep your next action obvious.
  • Privacy by default — no accounts, no external storage, no analytics SDKs.
  • Evidence‑informed techniques — a tips library grounded in proven study methods.
  • Offline first — built to work anywhere, even on airplane mode.

Who we build for

BReine is especially helpful if you:

  • Are a student preparing for exams and juggling multiple subjects.
  • Are a professional learning new skills on top of a full‑time job.
  • Are a self‑taught learner who values simple, sustainable routines.
  • Care deeply about keeping your learning data private and under your control.

Recent journey

BReine is intentionally small: focused on doing a few things extremely well, evolving slowly with real learners instead of chasing trends.

2024
Concept and first prototypes

We sketched out the core experience — a focus timer, lightweight plans, and a tips library — all running fully offline with local‑only storage.

2025
Public 1.0 release

After months of feedback from students and working learners, BReine 1.0 shipped with a statistics dashboard, weekly goals, and a refined, distraction‑free interface.

Product philosophy

Designed like a notebook, powered like an app.

BReine should feel as approachable as opening a notebook, but powerful enough to give you real insight into your learning habits.

Calm by default

No streak‑shaming, no intrusive pop‑ups, no social feeds. Just a quiet space for you and your work.

Transparent stats

We only show numbers that help you make better decisions about how and when to study.

Own your data

Everything lives in your iOS Documents directory, with an option to export to JSON whenever you like.
