These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BReine application ("App"). By downloading or using BReine, you agree to these Terms.
BReine is an offline, on‑device study companion. We do not run accounts, cloud services, or ads for this app. All user data is stored locally on your iPhone.
1. Eligibility and use
You may use BReine if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or if you have consent from a parent or legal guardian. BReine is intended for general audiences and does not contain objectionable content (4+ rating).
2. License
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use BReine on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non‑commercial purposes unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.
3. On‑device data
- Focus sessions, study plans, statistics, and favorites are stored locally on your device.
- We do not receive, collect, or process this data on external servers.
- You are responsible for backing up or exporting your data (e.g., JSON export) if needed.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by law.
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to circumvent technical protections or distribute unauthorized copies.
5. Intellectual property
BReine, including its design, branding, and bundled content (such as learning tips and illustrations), is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use BReine's name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement without prior written permission.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
BReine is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee that BReine will meet your performance targets or academic outcomes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of BReine, including loss of data, study results, or productivity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Changes to the App or Terms
We may update BReine or these Terms from time to time (for example, when adding features or addressing legal requirements). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
